Julia has worked in local government - for Bournemouth Borough Council - over the last 9 years covering a variety of roles. She began as the PFI Co-ordinator for a major new central library development, covered maternity leave for the Dorset and New Forest Tourism Partnership Manager and then went on to be the Development Officer for Information, Culture & Community Learning. This final role involved marketing and PR, surveys and consultation, and performance management. Prior to this she studied Heritage Conservation BSc Hons at Bournemouth University, following eight years working in the travel industry.

She now very much enjoys her marketing role within the Jurassic Coast Team, and is responsible for the design,development and implementation of this website.

Julia likes nothing better than to walk along the beach with her dog and her husband in tow, looking out towards Old Harry Rocks, as the sun is setting and the crowds have all gone home for the day.
