The Defra website provides information about the 15 funded Coastal Change Pathfinder projects.

The Environment Agency website provides information about the Shoreline Management Plan for each section of the UK coastline.

The Shoreline Management Plan for North Swanage form part of the Bournemouth and Poole SMP.

The Shoreline Management Plan for the other five sites (Ringstead, Preston Beach Road, Seatown, Charmouth and Sidmouth) form part of the South Devon and Dorset Coastal Advisory Group (SDADCAG).

The South West Coastal Group website provides up to date information and advice on coastal issues and the strategic coastal defence policy for the South West (Portland Bill in Dorset - Hartland Point in Devon).

The Climate South West website has been set up to provide information and advice on the potential impacts of climate change in the South West of England. The summary report published in 2010 looks at the climate change predictions for the next 100 years and discusses the potential impacts on the built and natural environments.
