Tourism businesses along the Jurassic Coast are being encouraged to take part in the new Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme.
Jurassic Coast branded signs can now be seen at railway stations in East Devon as well as Dorset, promoting the station's close proximity to and affiliation with the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Surveys are being carried out along the coast path to find out what people really thing about the signs, facilities and access to the path.
The Jurassic Coast Arts Programme is underway with an arts project protocol, developing
event themes, working up ideas for the Cultural Olympiad (2008 - 12) and
preparing a large Grants for the Arts bid to help finance the project.
Chris Huxley and Crystal Johnson have been appointed to carry out
the work. Chris was recently in charge at Bridport Arts Centre in West Dorset
and Crystal is well
known throughout the region from her work with Arts & Business.
Earlier in the year, Nikki Greenleaf was appointed as the Executive Officer of the Jurassic Coast Trust. Nikki has a senior management background in marketing, communications and fundraising, and experience across all sectors in leading campaigns.
