Job Title:           Project Officer  (Dorset building stones)

Employer:         Dorset Environmental Records Centre

Salary:               £16,000 per annum, pro rata for 6 months from September 2009

Dorset Environmental Records Centre requires someone with an excellent knowledge of Dorset geology and building stones to co-ordinate data on quarries, building stones used in the county and representative historical buildings as part of the English Heritage Strategic Stone Study.  The work will involve extensive use of Excel spreadsheets and MapInfo GIS, with occasional site visits.
