Make your own cool fossil and dinosaur badges at home!

You will need:
Colouring and glitter pens, Stiff cardboard (e.g. cereal box), Pair of scissors, Clear sellotape, Glue stick, Safety pin

To make badges:

1. Download and print out a sheet of badges

Jurassic Coast fossil badges (Colour in!)

Jurassic Coast animal badges (cut out and keep)

2. Colour in the badges you want to make. Not sure about what colours to use? Don't worry! Not even the most cleverest scientists know what skin colour the dinosaurs had. Think about colours and patterns that might scare off a predator, or even colours that help the dinosaur to be camoflaged.

3. Cut around the outline of the circle of the badge.

4. Stick your badge onto the stiff cardboard using the glue stick.

5. Once dry, cut around your badge to make a disc.

6. Stick a safety pin on the back of your badge with some sellotape (ask an adult for help if you need it!).

7. Pin onto your t-shirt and go!!

TIP: Cover your badge with sticky back plastic or clear sellotape over the front to make it waterproof. Ask an adult to help if its tricky.
