Bournemouth is a superb resort and offers something for everyone.

The list of things to do is as long as the beach itself.  Renowned for its seven miles of blue flag, golden beaches and beautiful parks and gardens, Bournemouth blends the contemporary with the traditional to ensure you are truly spoilt for choice.

Bournemouth beach is one big playground! There is pedalo and boat hire, jet-skiing, banana boats and volleyball to name just a few.  For kids, there is a bouncy castle, a land train and traditional amusements at the pier, as well as a free beach games club in the summer.  Bournemouth also has a pioneering Kidzone wristband scheme to ensure a quick and easy reunion should your child wander off.

In the evening, Bournemouth literally buzzes with restaurants, bars, clubs and shows.  Why not take in a concert at the Pier Theatre, watch the magnificent firework display on a Friday or one of the many performances in the various parks and gardens.  Bournemouth has over 2000 acres of beautiful, award winning gardens to relax in, each with their own unique style.

In town, you can ride on an open top bus or go up in the Bournemouth Eye, a giant helium balloon which takes you 500ft above Bournemouth for awe-inspiring views.  Or you can shop 'til you drop in Bournemouth's eclectic mix of major stores and small boutiques.
