Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme Launch to benefit tourism businesses

October 31^st saw the launch of the first of several projects aimed at engaging businesses and promoting community ownership along the Jurassic Coast.  The launch event at Highlands End Holiday Park, Eype was held by Dorset and New Forest Partnership (DNFP), with representatives from the Jurassic Coast Team and SWRDA, and brought together guests from businesses and agencies along the length of the Jurassic Coast.  The Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme team aim to raise the quality of tourism through providing training and support to entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes.  This will enable the business community to fully benefit from the proposed substantial investments taking place along the coast in marketing, interpretation and the development of a network of visitor centres.
