The World Heritage coastline of Dorset and East Devon, the Jurassic Coast, is to receive a huge boost with an approval of a framework to invest up to £7.1 million in an estimated £40m overall project from The South West of England Regional Development Agency (South West RDA). The funds will be managed by the RDA over five years to support a series of initiatives that will be approved individually.
The Lyme Regis Development Trust and Lyme Regis Museum are delighted to have been awarded a grant of £36,800 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to run events over Easter this year - all based around local fossilist Mary Anning.
